1 ܘܰܠܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܬ݂ܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܘܳܬ݂ ܡܶܫܬ݁ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ
ܒ݁ܩܳܛܢܶܐ ܡܕ݂ܺܝܢ݈ܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܓ݂ܠܺܝܠܳܐ ܘܶܐܡܶܗ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂܂

And on the third day there was a feast in Cana, a city of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there.
2 ܘܳܐܦ݂ ܗܽܘ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܬ݂ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܐܶܬ݂ܩܪܺܝܘ ܠܳܗ ܠܡܶܫܬ݁ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ܂

And also Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast.
3 ܘܰܚܣܰܪ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܚܰܡܪܳܐ ܘܳܐܡܪܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܐܶܡܶܗ ܠܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܚܰܡܪܳܐ ܠܰܝܬ݁ ܠܗܽܘܢ܂

And the wine fell short: and his mother said to Jesus: They have no wine.
4 ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܳܗ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܡܳܐ ܠܺܝ ܘܠܶܟ݂ܝ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܥܕ݂ܰܟ݁ܺܝܠ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܬ݂
ܫܳܥܰܬ݂ܝ܂

Jesus said to her: What is [in common] to me and thee ? Not yet hath my hour come.
5 ܐܳܡܪܳܐ ܐܶܡܶܗ ܠܰܡܫܰܡܫܳܢܶܐ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܳܐܡܰܪ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܥܒ݂ܶܕ݂ܘ܂

His mother said to the waiters: Whatever he saith to you, do [it].
6 ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܰܝ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܐܰܓ݂ܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܟ݂ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ ܫܶܬ݂ ܕ݁ܣܺܝܡܳܢ
ܠܬ݂ܰܕ݂ܟ݁ܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܚܕ݁ܳܢ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܪܶܒ݂ܥܺܝܢ ܐܰܘ ܬ݁ܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ܂

And there were there six waterpots of stone, set for the purification of Jews, containing each two or three quadrantalia.
7 ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܡܠܰܘ ܐܶܢܶܝܢ ܡܰܝܳܐ ܠܰܐܓ݂ܳܢܶܐ ܘܰܡܠܰܘ ܐܶܢܶܝܢ ܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ

Jesus said to them: Fill those water-pots with water. And they filled them to the top.
8 ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܙܠܽܘܥܘ ܡܶܟ݁ܺܝܠ ܘܰܐܝܬ݁ܰܘ ܠܪܺܝܫ ܣܡܳܟ݂ܳܐ ܘܰܐܝܬ݁ܺܝܘ܂

He said to them: Draw now, and carry to the master of the feast. And they carried.
9 ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܛܥܶܡ ܗܰܘ ܪܺܝܫ ܣܡܳܟ݂ܳܐ ܡܰܝܳܐ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܗܘܰܘ ܚܰܡܪܳܐ ܘܠܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ
ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܐܰܝܡܶܟ݁ܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܫܰܡܫܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܳܕ݂ܥܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܡܠܰܘ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ
ܠܡܰܝܳܐ ܩܪܳܐ ܪܺܝܫ ܣܡܳܟ݂ܳܐ ܠܚܰܬ݂ܢܳܐ܂

And when the master of the feast tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know whence it came, (although the waiters knew, as they had filled the pots with water,) the master of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܶܗ ܟ݁ܽܠ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܠܽܘܩܕ݂ܰܡ
ܚܰܡܪܳܐ ܛܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܡܰܝܬ݁ܶܐ ܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܪܘܺܝܘ ܗܳܝܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܰܝܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܨܺܝܪ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ
ܢܛܰܪܬ݁ܳܝܗ݈ܝ ܠܚܰܡܪܳܐ ܛܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ ܠܗܳܫܳܐ܂

and said to him: Every man first bringeth forward the good wine, and when they are satiated, then that which is inferior; but thou hast kept the good wine till now.
11 ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܗ݈ܝ ܐܳܬ݂ܳܐ
ܩܰܕ݂ܡܳܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܒ݁ܩܳܛܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܓ݂ܠܺܝܠܳܐ ܘܰܐܘܕ݁ܰܥ ܫܽܘܒ݂ܚܶܗ ܘܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ
ܒ݁ܶܗ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ܂

This is the first sign, which Jesus wrought at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory: and his disciples believed on him.
12 ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܢܚܶܬ݂ ܠܰܟ݂ܦ݂ܰܪܢܰܚܽܘܡ ܗܽܘ ܘܶܐܡܶܗ
ܘܰܐܚܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܬ݂ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܬ݂ܰܡܳܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܩܰܠܺܝܠ ܝܰܘܡܳܬ݂ܳܐ܂

Afterwards he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother and his brothers and his disciples; and they were there a few days.
13 ܘܩܰܪܺܝܒ݂
ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܦ݁ܶܨܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܘܰܣܠܶܩ ܠܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ܂

And the pass over of the Jews drew near; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 ܘܶܐܫܟ݁ܰܚ
ܒ݁ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ ܠܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܙܰܒ݁ܢܺܝܢ ܬ݁ܰܘܪܶܐ ܘܥܶܪܒ݁ܶܐ ܘܝܰܘܢܶܐ ܘܠܰܡܥܰܪܦ݂ܳܢܶܐ
ܕ݁ܝܳܬ݂ܒ݁ܺܝܢ܂

And he found in the temple those who sold beeves and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting [there].
15 ܘܰܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ ܠܶܗ ܦ݁ܪܳܓ݂ܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܚܰܒ݂ܠܳܐ ܘܰܠܟ݂ܽܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܰܦ݁ܶܩ
ܡܶܢ ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ ܘܰܠܥܶܪܒ݁ܶܐ ܘܰܠܬ݂ܰܘܪܶܐ ܘܠܰܡܥܰܪܦ݂ܳܢܶܐ ܘܶܐܫܰܕ݂ ܥܽܘܪܦ݂ܳܢܗܽܘܢ
ܘܦ݂ܳܬ݂ܽܘܪܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܗܦ݂ܰܟ݂܂

And he made himself a whip from a cord, and turned them all out of the temple, and the sheep and the beeves and the money-changers; and he poured out their money, and overset their tables:
16 ܘܰܠܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܙܰܒ݁ܢܺܝܢ ܝܰܘܢܶܐ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܫܩܽܘܠܘ
ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܡܶܟ݁ܳܐ ܘܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܶܥܒ݁ܕ݂ܽܘܢܶܗ ܠܒ݂ܰܝܬ݁ܶܗ ܕ݁ܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܬ݁ܶܐܓ݂ܽܘܪܬ݁ܳܐ܂

and he said to them that sold doves, Take away these things; and make not my Father's house a house of traffic.
17 ܘܶܐܬ݁ܕ݁ܟ݂ܰܪܘ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܬ݂ܺܝܒ݂ ܕ݁ܰܛܢܳܢܶܗ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܰܝܬ݁ܳܟ݂
ܐܰܟ݂ܠܰܢܝ܂

And his disciples remembered, that it is written: The zeal of thy house hath devoured me.
18 ܥܢܰܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܘܶܐܡܰܪܘ ܠܶܗ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܐܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܚܰܘܶܐ
ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܠܰܢ ܕ݁ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁܂

But the Jews replied, and said to him: What sign showest thou to us, since thou doest these things?
19 ܥܢܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ
ܣܬ݂ܽܘܪܘ ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܘܠܰܬ݂ܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܡܩܺܝܡ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܶܗ܂

Jesus answered, and said to them: Demolish this temple, and in three days I will again erect it.
20 ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܠܰܐܪܒ݁ܥܺܝܢ ܘܫܶܬ݂ ܫܢܺܝܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܒ݁ܢܺܝ ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ
ܗܳܢܳܐ ܘܰܐܢ݈ܬ݁ ܠܰܬ݂ܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ ܡܩܺܝܡ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܠܶܗ܂

The Jews said to him: Forty and six years, this temple was building; and wilt thou build it again in three days?
21 ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ
ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܓ݂ܪܶܗ܂

But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܩܳܡ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܶܐ
ܐܶܬ݁ܕ݁ܟ݂ܰܪܘ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܘܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܠܰܟ݂ܬ݂ܳܒ݂ܶܐ ܘܰܠܡܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ
ܕ݁ܶܐܡܰܪ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ܂

And when he was arisen from the dead, his disciples remembered, that he spoke this: and they believed the scriptures, and the word that Jesus spake.
23 ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܒ݁ܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ
ܒ݁ܦ݂ܶܨܚܳܐ ܒ݁ܥܰܕ݂ܥܺܕ݂ܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܚܙܰܘ ܐܳܬ݂ܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂܂

And while Jesus was in Jerusalem, at the feast of the passover, many believed on him, because they saw the signs he wrought.
24 ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܳܐ ܡܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܗܽܘ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ
ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܟ݂ܽܠܢܳܫ܂

But Jesus did not confide himself to them; because he knew all men:
25 ܘܠܳܐ ܣܢܺܝܩ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܢܶܣܗܰܕ݂ ܠܶܗ ܥܰܠ ܟ݁ܽܠ
ܒ݁ܰܪܢܳܫ ܗܽܘ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܰܪܢܳܫܳܐ܂

And he needed not that any one should testify to him respecting any man; for he himself knew what is in man.
