ܬ݁ܶܐܳܘܦ݂ܺܝܠܶܐ ܥܰܠ ܟ݁ܽܠܗܶܝܢ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܫܰܪܺܝ ܡܳܪܰܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ ܠܡܶܥܒ݁ܰܕ݂

,The former book have I written, O Theophilus concerning all the things which our Lord Jesus Messiah began to do and teach
2 ܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ ܠܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܶܗ ܐܶܣܬ݁ܰܠܰܩ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪ
ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܩܶܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܠܰܫܠܺܝܚܶܐ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܓ݂ܒ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܽܘܕ݂ܫܳܐ܂

.until the day when he was taken up, after he had instructed those legates whom he had chosen by the Holy Spirit
3 ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܳܐܦ݂ ܚܰܘܺܝ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܚܰܝ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪ ܕ݁ܚܰܫ
ܒ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܳܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ ܐܰܪܒ݁ܥܺܝܢ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܡܶܬ݂ܚܙܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܘܳܐܡܰܪ
ܥܰܠ ܡܰܠܟ݁ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ܂

.To whom also he showed himself alive after he had suffered, by numerous signs, during forty days, while he was seen by them, and spoke of the kingdom of God
4 ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܟ݂ܰܠ ܥܰܡܗܽܘܢ ܠܰܚܡܳܐ ܦ݁ܰܩܶܕ݂
ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܡܶܢ ܐܽܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܠܳܐ ܢܶܦ݂ܪܩܽܘܢ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܢܩܰܘܽܘܢ ܠܫܽܘܘ݈ܕ݁ܳܝܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܒ݂ܳܐ ܗܰܘ
ܕ݁ܰܫܡܰܥܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܡܶܢܝ܂

.And when he had eaten bread with them, he instructed them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which (said he) ye have heard from me
5 ܕ݁ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܐܰܥܡܶܕ݂ ܒ݁ܡܰܝܳܐ ܘܰܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܬ݁ܶܥܡܕ݂ܽܘܢ
ܒ݁ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܽܘܕ݂ܫܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪ ܝܰܘܡܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ܂

.For John baptized with water; but ye will be baptized with the Holy Spirit after not many days
6 ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ
ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܟ݁ܢܺܝܫܺܝܢ ܫܰܐܠܽܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܡܳܪܰܢ ܐܶܢ ܒ݁ܗܳܢܳܐ ܙܰܒ݂ܢܳܐ ܡܰܦ݂ܢܶܐ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁
ܡܰܠܟ݁ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܠܺܐܝܣܪܳܝܶܠ܂

?And they, when assembled, asked him and said to him: Our Lord, wilt thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel
7 ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܗܽܘ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܕ݁ܺܝܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ
ܠܡܶܕ݁ܰܥ ܙܰܒ݂ܢܳܐ ܐܰܘ ܙܰܒ݂ܢܶܐ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܐܒ݂ܳܐ ܣܳܡ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܫܽܘܠܛܳܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ܂

.He said to them: It is not yours, to know the time or times which God hath placed in his own power
8 ܐܶܠܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܬ݁ܺܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܽܘܕ݂ܫܳܐ ܥܠܰܝܟ݁ܽܘܢ ܬ݁ܩܰܒ݁ܠܽܘܢ ܚܰܝܠܳܐ
ܘܬ݂ܶܗܘܽܘܢ ܠܺܝ ܣܳܗܕ݁ܶܐ ܒ݁ܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܘܰܒ݂ܟ݂ܽܠܳܗ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ ܘܳܐܦ݂ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܫܳܡܪܳܝܶܐ
ܘܰܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ ܠܣܰܘܦ݁ܶܝܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܪܥܳܐ܂

,But when the Holy Spirit shall come upon you, ye will receive energy, and will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea .and also among the Samaritans, and unto the ends of the earth
9 ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܚܳܙܶܝܢ ܠܶܗ
ܐܶܣܬ݁ܰܠܰܩ ܘܰܥܢܳܢܳܐ ܩܰܒ݁ܶܠܬ݂ܶܗ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܟ݁ܰܣܺܝ ܡܶܢ ܥܰܝܢܰܝܗܽܘܢ܂

.And when he had said these things, while they beheld him, he was taken up, and a cloud received him, and he was hidden from their eyes
10 ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂
ܚܳܝܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܒ݁ܰܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܗܽܘ ܐܳܙܶܠ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܐܶܫܬ݁ܟ݂ܰܚܘ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܺܝܢ
ܩܳܝܡܺܝܢ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܰܠܒ݂ܽܘܫܶܐ ܚܶܘܳܪܳܐ܂

,And while they were looking toward heaven, as he departed, two men were found standing near them, in white garments
11 ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܶܐ
ܓ݁ܠܺܝܠܳܝܶܐ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܩܳܝܡܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܘܚܳܝܪܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܰܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܐܣܬ݁ܰܠܰܩ
ܡܶܢܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܠܰܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܢܺܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܚܙܰܝܬ݁ܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܰܣܠܶܩ ܠܰܫܡܰܝܳܐ܂

?and saying to them: Ye Galilean men, why stand ye and look toward heaven .This Jesus, who is taken up from you to heaven, will so come, as ye have seen him ascend to heaven
12 ܘܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪܟ݁ܶܢ ܗܦ݂ܰܟ݂ܘ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܠܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܡܶܢ ܛܽܘܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܶܬ݂ܩܪܶܐ
ܕ݁ܒ݂ܶܝܬ݂ ܙܰܝܬ݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܥܰܠ ܓ݁ܶܢ݈ܒ݂ ܐܽܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܘܦ݂ܰܪܺܝܩ ܡܶܢܳܗ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܫܰܒ݂ܥܳܐ
ܐܶܣܛܕ݂ܰܘܳܢ܂

.And afterwards they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called the place of Olives, which was near to Jerusalem, and distant from it about seven furlongs
13 ܘܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪ ܕ݁ܥܰܠܘ ܣܠܶܩܘ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܠܥܶܠܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܝ ܕ݁ܗܳܘܶܝܢ
ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܒ݁ܳܗ ܦ݁ܶܛܪܳܘܣ ܘܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܘܝܰܥܩܽܘܒ݂ ܘܰܐܢܕ݁ܪܶܐܘܳܣ ܘܦ݂ܺܝܠܺܝܦ݁ܳܘܣ ܘܬ݂ܳܐܘܡܰܐ
ܘܡܰܬ݁ܰܝ ܘܒ݂ܰܪܬ݁ܽܘܠܡܰܝ ܘܝܰܥܩܽܘܒ݂ ܒ݁ܰܪ ܚܰܠܦ݂ܰܝ ܘܫܶܡܥܽܘܢ ܛܰܢܳܢܳܐ ܘܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܪ

,And when they had entered, they went to an upper chamber; where were Peter, and John, and James, and Andrew .and Philip, and Thomas, and Matthew, and Bartholomew, and James the son of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the son of James
14 ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܽܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܰܟ݂ܚܕ݂ܳܐ ܐܰܡܺܝܢܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܒ݁ܰܨܠܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ
ܒ݁ܰܚܕ݂ܳܐ ܢܦ݂ܶܫ ܥܰܡ ܢܶܫܶܐ ܘܥܰܡ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܐܶܡܶܗ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܥܰܡ ܐܰܚܰܘܗ݈ܝ܂

.All these unitedly persevered in prayer, with one soul, together with the women, and with Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers
15 ܘܰܒ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܩܳܡ ܫܶܡܥܽܘܢ ܟ݁ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ ܡܶܨܥܰܬ݂
ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܶܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܡܳܐܐ ܘܥܶܣܪܺܝܢ
ܘܶܐܡܰܪ܂

:And in those days stood up Simon Cephas in the midst of the disciples, (the persons there assembled being about one hundred and twenty,) and said
16 ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܶܐ ܐܰܚܰܝܢ ܙܳܕ݂ܶܩ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܬ݂ܡܰܠܶܐ ܟ݁ܬ݂ܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܐܰܝܢܳܐ
ܕ݁ܩܰܕ݁ܶܡ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܽܘܕ݂ܫܳܐ ܒ݁ܦ݂ܽܘܡܶܗ ܕ݁ܕ݂ܰܘܺܝܕ݂ ܥܰܠ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܗܘܳܐ
ܡܕ݂ܰܒ݁ܪܳܢܳܐ ܠܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܐܚܰܕ݂ܘ ܠܝܶܫܽܘܥ܂

Men, brethren, it was right that the scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spake, by the mouth of David, concerning Judas .who was guide to them that apprehended Jesus
17 ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܰܡܢܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܥܰܡܰܢ
ܘܺܐܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܦ݁ܶܣܳܐ ܒ݁ܬ݂ܶܫܡܶܫܬ݁ܳܐ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ܂

.For he was numbered with us, and had a part in this ministry
18 ܗܳܢܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܩܢܳܐ ܠܶܗ
ܩܪܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܐܰܓ݂ܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܚܛܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܰܢܦ݂ܰܠ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܦ݁ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܪܥܳܐ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܦ݁ܪܶܬ݂
ܡܶܢ ܡܨܰܥܬ݂ܶܗ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܶܐܫܶܕ݂ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܓ݁ܘܳܝܶܗ܂

.He purchased a field with the wages of sin; and he fell upon his face on the ground, and burst in the middle, and all his entrails were poured out
19 ܘܗܺܝ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܝܰܕ݂ܥܰܬ݂
ܠܟ݂ܽܠܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܥܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܘܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܩܰܪܝܰܬ݂ ܩܪܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܝ ܒ݁ܠܶܫܳܢܶܗ
ܕ݁ܰܐܬ݂ܪܳܐ ܚܩܰܠ ܕ݁ܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܬ݁ܽܘܪܓ݁ܳܡܳܗ ܩܽܘܪܝܰܬ݂ ܕ݁ܶܡ܂

.And this was known to all that dwelt at Jerusalem; so that the field was called, in the language of the country, Aceldama, which is interpreted Field of Blood
20 ܟ݁ܬ݂ܺܝܒ݂ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܒ݁ܣܶܦ݂ܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܰܙܡܽܘܪܶܐ ܕ݁ܕ݂ܰܝܪܶܗ ܬ݁ܶܗܘܶܐ ܚܰܪܒ݁ܳܐ
ܘܥܳܡܽܘܪ ܠܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܒ݁ܳܗ ܘܬ݂ܶܫܡܶܫܬ݁ܶܗ ܢܶܣܰܒ݂ ܐ݈ܚܪܺܝܢ܂

.For it is written, in the book of Psalms: Let his habitation be desolate, and let no resident be in it; and let another take his service
21 ܘܳܠܝܳܐ ܗ݈ܝ
ܗܳܟ݂ܺܝܠ ܠܚܰܕ݂ ܡܶܢ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܗܘܰܘ ܥܰܡܰܢ ܒ݁ܗܳܢܳܐ ܙܰܒ݂ܢܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܶܗ
ܥܰܠ ܘܰܢܦ݂ܰܩ ܥܠܰܝܢ ܡܳܪܰܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ܂

,It should therefore be, that one of these persons, who have been with us all the time that our Lord Jesus went in and out with us
22 ܕ݁ܰܐܩܶܦ݂ ܡܶܢ ܡܰܥܡܽܘܕ݂ܺܝܬ݂ܶܗ
ܕ݁ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ ܠܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܣܬ݁ܰܠܰܩ ܡܶܢ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܰܢ ܕ݁ܗܽܘ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܥܰܡܰܢ ܣܳܗܕ݁ܳܐ
ܕ݁ܰܩܝܳܡܬ݁ܶܗ܂

.commencing from the baptism of John, unto the day he was taken up from us, should be, with us, a witness of his resurrection
23 ܘܰܐܩܺܝܡܘ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܠܝܰܘܣܶܦ݂ ܕ݁ܡܶܬ݂ܩܪܶܐ ܒ݁ܰܪܫܰܒ݁ܳܐ
ܕ݁ܶܐܫܬ݁ܰܡܺܝ ܝܽܘܣܛܳܘܣ ܘܰܠܡܰܬ݁ܺܝܰܐ܂

.And they proposed two, Joseph called Barsabas, whose surname was Justus, and Matthias
24 ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܨܰܠܺܝܘ ܐܶܡܰܪܘ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁
ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܠܶܒ݁ܰܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܟ݂ܽܠ ܚܰܘܳܐ ܚܰܕ݂ ܐܰܝܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܓ݂ܳܒ݂ܶܐ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܡܶܢ
ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܪܰܝܗܽܘܢ܂

,And when they had prayed, they said: Thou, Lord, knowest what is in the hearts of all, manifest which thou hast chosen of these two
25 ܕ݁ܗܽܘ ܢܩܰܒ݁ܶܠ ܦ݁ܶܣܳܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܫܡܶܫܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܰܫܠܺܝܚܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ
ܕ݁ܡܶܢܳܗ ܦ݁ܪܰܩ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܺܐܙܰܠ ܠܶܗ ܠܰܐܬ݂ܪܶܗ܂

.that he should take part in this ministry and legateship, from which Judas broke away, that he might go to his own place
26 ܘܰܐܪܡܺܝܘ ܦܶܨܶܐ
ܘܣܶܠܩܰܬ݂ ܠܡܰܬ݁ܺܝܰܐ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܡܢܺܝ ܥܰܡ ܚܕ݂ܰܥܣܰܪ ܫܠܺܝܚܶܐ܂

.And they cast lots, and it came upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven legates
